St Austell is a civil parishes in England and a major town in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated on the south coast approximately ten miles (16 km) south of Bodmin and 30 miles (48 km) west of the border with Devon at Saltash.
St Austell is the largest town in Cornwall: in the UK census 2001, the population was 22,658 (larger than the county town, Truro, which had a population of 20,920).
